Lory Diet: Lories require a special diet. They cannot tolerate the basic hookbill diet. Lories require a diet that is very liquid based. Lories may be fed a small amount of the Birdcamp Sprout Mix , apples, oranges, grapes, and a quality Lory Pellet (i.e. Pretty Bird Lory Select Pellets). Lories like lots of fruit. Never feed seed to a Lory. This can damage its sensitive digestive tract. |

For the Weaned Parrot: We recommend our Birdcamp Sprout Mix, whole kernel corn, chopped apple and chopped carrot. To that we add Wheat Grass and Prime Multi-Vitamin Supplement.
This is an easy way to prepare vegetables for the daily nutritional needs of your bird. Vegetables should comprise 2/3 of your parrot's daily diet. The final 1/3 of the diet is made up of a quality pellet and a very small amount of a good Parrot Seed Mix. The combination of Birdcamp Sprouts, pellets and Parrot Seed Mix is a complete, balanced diet for your most prized companion.
