Choosing a baby bird is a very important decision.  Buying from a reputable breeder is extremely important.  While many pet stores offer quality birds, the prospective owner knows very little about where the bird came from and the conditions in which it was raised.  Here at Gulf Coast Exotic Birds, our babies are raised in a loving home environment.  This is important because the way a baby is raised means all of the difference when the bird becomes an adult.

Our Health Guarantee

We guarantee that your baby bird will be healthy at time of sale.  There is no guarantee, express or written, on babies still hand-feeding at time of sale.  A Veterinarian certified Health Certificate with Fecal Check can be provided at the owner’s expense.

Diet Recommendations

The key to providing a balanced and nutritious diet for your parrot is to give it a large variety of fresh, natural foods. A diet comprised totally of seeds is not nutritionally balanced, nor is it a natural diet for parrots.  The links below list a variety of foods that we recommend.

Always use distilled water for hand-feeding and drinking water for any new birds. Gradually add your local water to the distilled water to convert over.
